When in a relationship, I think about the future from the very beginning. A relationship seems senseless if there is no potential for a family, or there isn’t any type of growth. Every relationship should help you learn something new, should make things clearer, should help you progress and get closer to your goals. But if all it does is fill your tummy and get you a few material things, then what’s the point? After investing time, energy, and money, you should have more than just a good time.

You should leave the relationship better than when you entered it.

I’m still young and I don’t see myself settling down and having a family anytime soon, but I’d like to think whatever situation I’m in now has the potential to fit into my life a few years from now.
