Life Changing Decision — Latina Point

Today while I was at the supermarket with my mom and brother I told my mom that I’ve made a life changing decision. Her response was: Tell me in the car.

I told her I must tell her now and I said.

“I’ve decided that from now on I will eat vegetables, fruits and…….drink water.”

Basically I’m going to eat healthy.

She freaked out and said: OMG I’m so proud of you, I’ll do my very best to support you in this extremely large change in your life. I know this was very difficult for you to decide, and if there is anything you need I’m here for you.

From then on she skipped through the supermarket choosing every non-fat, 0 calories, vitamin___ filled, fiber supplement, and whole grain product she could get her hands on. I’ve never read so many labels in my life.
