She could have been saved

I read about this case in my textbook and I thought I’d google it and find out more about it. It’s an interesting story that happened not too far from where I live. There’s so many factors that make you stop and think. The murderer got a B.A in Sociology while in prison, has been denied parole 13 times and on November of this year he will try again. The woman could have been saved, had the door not been locked, had someone taken the time to look and help. The man had time to change clothes and search for her after he stabbed her. This is crazy. To think people like this are walking around and can strike any time. Makes me want to come home earlier.
