Memoir

So a great friend reiterated an idea I loosely thought about in the last couple years. To write a book, specifically a memoir. I have 10 journals give or take. Each with memories from the time I was about 8 or 9. Some memories have been re-written for the sake of security. Don’t want to misplace a journal and lose those memories forever. This means I would have to photocopy each page, put them in chronological order, then categorize them. I have to find a theme in it all. What’s a prevalent theme in my life? Probably love or loneliness, both fit perfectly. Then I have to figure out the structure and style I would like to write it in. Also I would need to include the new entries I’ll be writing along the way. Which might get complicated because I’ll be writing them knowing I’ll be including them in the novel, which might change how I write them. (Psychology degree enters) I’ll also need to change names, because I don’t want to end up living alone with cats. I don’t think I’ll make much money off of it. I’ll also have my deepest thoughts out in the open. I wonder if I can make a book for me only. Just one copy. Then it can be priceless. I guess it will be like one of those reader’s we get in school. That’s not very pretty though, I guess I can ask someone to draw me a cool cover. O the possibilities. I think I’m going to add creating a memoir to one of my long term goals.

It was also mentioned that this book would be in my future library in a glass case.
