Last year we ran the Sprint, so this was a leap up in both distance and obstacles. To say I was challenged is a massive understatement. It took us 7hrs and 20 minutes to complete the course. Of the 25 or so obstacles I tried all but 4 or 5. It was definitely a test of both my physical and mental ability. As you can see in the images above I was in pain (and hangry) for just about the entire race.

We waded through a lake, carried sandbags, concrete spheres, logs, and jumped/climbed over walls. We hiked up the mountain, through the wilderness, over fallen trees and loose rocks. We were sunburned, dehydrated, soaking wet, bruised, cut. I felt every muscle in my body, my legs trembled, my head was pounding, sweat was dripping, and my eyes were on FIRE (contacts were not on my side that day).

Having to wash the mud, horse manure (wild guess), dirt, and pebbles that seemingly fused with my gear was just as painful. Yet, it was all 100% worth it. I pushed my body to it's limits and came out on top...or 5884th place.
