Updates
Made some pretty interesting changes that hopefully will improve my life overall. And they are:
No television unless it’s a movie.
- I watch T.V entirely too often and it’s eating up a lot of my time. So I figured I’ll stop watching T.V unless there’s a particular movie on. I haven’t turned on my T.V since Wednesday (4 days) and I’m spending my extra time either reading or sleeping.
No chocolate until my birthday.
- I have a very intense chocolate addiction. I eat chocolate every single day, either it’s a chocolate frosted donut, hot chocolate, chocolate chip cookies, snickers, M&M’s, even cereal…yes cereal. I eat cereal with warm chocolate milk. I know I’ve taken this love of chocolate way too far. And that’s precisely why I’m giving it up until my birthday in October. I figure if I can last that long then I can moderate my intake from them on…that of course is just a theory.
Work out.
- I am a total disgrace when it comes to sticking to a workout. I have started and quit P90X like 4 times. I have started and quit going to the gym like 3 times. I really just can’t stick to it. So I’ve decided to make it happen this year. It’s my last year to get some fitness into my life for a very low price so I have to take advantage of it. I’m going to join a class and hopefully because I’ll be paying for it and it’s on a set time every week that I’ll be able to at least get through the semester without quitting. And just in case none of those classes fit my schedule/budget I’ve included my own gym time into my schedule. So NO EXCUSES.
I’m also cutting down time on FB but that’s a side project.
It seems like I’ll have more time and energy to spend on Tumblr, which is great because now I’ll get to work on my writing skills.
Yay for new things.
