Never Ending Story

I wrote a partly fictional piece about a year ago, and now I’m revamping it for my fiction course. I thought I’d change a few paragraphs here and there and call it a day. But once I started revising it I realized how important it was to me, to get certain details exactly right. There’s a particular emotion I want to evoke and it’s completely different from what I wanted when I originally wrote the piece.

I can see myself re-writing this piece over and over again, only putting it down if by some crazy twist of fate it comes true.

Now that I think of it, I’m slightly terrified at having this story work-shopped. It’s not in my character to, but this time I might take the critiques personal.
