Fly on the Wall

Today on my way home I was looking around at everyone on the train and I noticed a few things. Most of the guys had nothing more than an ipod on them. Yet, every single female had some variation of a purse. It got me thinking, how is it possible to walk out your house with NOTHING. What if you need to brush your hair? Or you need chapstick? Or maybe you need some lotion? WHAT DO YOU DO?!

My purses have increased in size as I’ve realized ALL the crap I need to carry with me just in case something happens. But guys just have their wallets and phones and that’s it. How they still look well put together by the end of the day will always baffle me.

How can you not touch-up midway through your day???

Anyways…

After pondering that for a while I started looking at people’s expressions. The women were clutching their belongings, they looked tense, and angry. While all the men were just kinda hanging out on the train. They were listening to music, sleeping, or reading on their nooks and what not.

Were the women just upset? NOPE! They had their angry face on. It’s the face we women put on to appear tough so no douche comes up to us and tries to either hit on us or push us around. It’s kinda crazy how that works though. Guys can just relax with no worries, and women tend to feel like they always have to be on guard, or at least some do.

Well that’s it…just some observations.
