Countryside

In the last four days I’ve seen the most amazing landscapes. As I passed each one my thought was…how great would it be to sit right in the middle of that and just write. To just look into the distance at the mountains or the endless ocean and be inspired.

The other day I went to the Walt Disney Museum and purchased my first Mickey Mouse journal. I collect journals and Mickey Mouse is my favorite cartoon character so this is definitely a big deal. I’ve been itching to use it during my sight seeing adventures but I’m always in the car and I can’t just stop to write. But the minute I get back home I’ll definitely be looking for a great view and giving myself an abundance of time to express my thoughts.

I’m thinking about The High Line, which I’ve never been to or the Brooklyn Promenade which is probably my favorite spot in NYC. I’m really enjoying the feeling these places give me. Just seeing something so grand in front of me, makes me put things into perspective.

I miss writing pages and pages of every thought that comes to mind. I’ll make journal writing my first goal after spring break.
