From Top 5 to Another Face in the Crowd

A professor I really admire told me grades don’t matter. Obviously she didn’t mean get C’s in all your classes.

I took it as try your hardest, and don’t let grades get to you. There are so many factors that go into being graded. Maybe you aren’t a good test taker but you know the material. Maybe you’re paper was a A- for one professor but an A for another. In the end as long as you know the material you’re OK.

A’s are rare for me now that I’m in college. (I’d like to believe I killed it in HS lol) But now I’ve dropped down to average, no longer at the top. I still try to get A’s but if I don’t I congratulate myself for passing and most importantly keeping my GPA at a 3.0 at the very least.

I got other things going on and other accomplishments to be proud of.

I’ll focus on the positive.
