Scene #___
I’ve been thinking about this scene for the past 3 days and I was finally able to complete it in my head today. I’ve written it down just as I pictured it. I’ll be changing some of the dialogue and description, but this is it.
Keep in mind, this would be towards the middle of my short story. (If I ever get around to writing it.)
[They were sitting next to each other on a stoop. He had been drinking the whole night and she just drank enough to make the world sway. The sky was a midnight blue and the air was cool enough to keep them alert. The way the wind blew through her hair, and the moon glistened in her eyes was giving him goosebumps. The liquor made him vulnerable. “I like you” he said. It was cheesy and he realized it. She smiled, and grabbed his phone from his hand. She saved her phone number and said, “if you still remember this tomorrow, let me know you meant it.”]
Do you like it?
