Great Day!

While I eat the fluffiest biscuits EVER and drink the most delicious ginger tea I’ll tell you how amazing my day has been.

So I got fitted for CONTACTS. The most painful exam ever, I have really sensitive eyes so I cried a lot. However it was spectacular being able to see without glasses. I felt so liberated. I’ll be wearing a trial pair for a week, then I get to order my own.

After that I went to see an amazing friend. Words really can’t describe how much fun I had with her. She’s one of the few people I can say ANYTHING to, no censorship. That was proven tonight.

Then she accompanied me to see a mutual friend/former teacher/coach. A wonderful man we both admire highly. Again, such a great time catching up and talking about life and what not.

Then I come home to tea and biscuits. No arguments with mother. No hassles, just a light snack and bed. These are the days I feel blessed and cared for. I’m so happy I have these two people in my life.
